Relax into the support of the hammock and allow the assistance of gravity to open up the body. Restorative Aerial Yoga is designed for students of all levels looking to slow down their practice and use the hammock closer to the ground.
Hammocks are hung low to the ground, and postures are held for longer periods of time. This will allow the body to surrender and release tension. The support of the hammock ensures proper alignment for a safe, healing practice.
We have 8 sessions available Sept-Dec. Click the link below to check out the dates and join!
Join us for a night of healing and relaxation with a guided meditation and the soothing sounds of chakra attuned crystal quartz singing bowl. Saturday November 13 and Saturday December 18 at 7pm in Dunellen. Evidence based studies show that sound baths and meditation can be effective for healing, as it encourages relaxation and brings your body into a parasympathetic state. In this state, our bodies produce nitric oxide, which opens blood vessels, increases the efficiency of our cells, and regulates blood pressure… All things that will aid your healing response. In other words, anything that helps you enter a more relaxed state will help reduce inflammation and boost your healing response, which will immediately benefit your physical and mental health.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Supply is limited. *$30 per session. Pricing will appear upon checkout*
